At the southern most part of Muskoka you will find Sparrow Lake in the municipality of Gravenhurst. It is famous for the tv series filmed at its iconic location “Paradise Falls” and has golf courses and resorts which keep visitors from Toronto happy and is only 1.5 hours from GTA. Sparrow is also part of the famed Trent Severn waterway which heads to Georgian Bay.  Almost 8km in length and 2km wide, it is quaint and has dozens of cottage offerings for people looking for the Muskoka experience as close as possible to Toronto.
